AdminUKKCA യുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന രണ്ടാമത് കരോൾ ഗാന/പുൽക്കൂട് മത്സരങ്ങൾക്ക് ജനുവരി 14, ഞായറാഴ്ച ആസ്ഥാനമന്ദിരത്തിൽ ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 12 മണിക്ക് തുടക്കമാകും. പുൽക്കൂട് ഉണ്ടാക്കേണ്ടത് അതാതു യൂണിറ്റുകളിലാണ്. മത്സരത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്ന യൂണിറ്റുകളിലെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ചത് എന്ന് തോന്നുന്ന ഒരു പുൽക്കൂടിൻറ്റെ ഒരു മിനിറ്റിൽ കുറയാത്ത വീഡിയോയും ഫോട്ടോസും, യൂണിറ്റ് ഭാരവാഹികളുടെ അനുമതിയോടെ സെൻട്രൽ കമ്മിറ്റിക്ക് അയച്ചു തരേണ്ടതാണ്. കരോൾ ഗാന മത്സരം നടക്കുന്നത് UKKCA ആസ്ഥാനമന്ദിരത്തിലായിരിക്കും. കരോൾ മത്സരത്തിന് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്യാനുള്ള അവസാന തീയതി ഡിസംബർ 31 -ഉം പുൽക്കൂടിൻറ്റെ വീഡിയോയും ചിത്രങ്ങളും അയച്ചു കൊടുക്കേണ്ട അവസാന തീയതി ഡിസംബർ 27-ഉം ആണ്. കരോൾ മത്സരങ്ങൾക്ക് ശേഷം കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി സെൻറ്ററിലെ സെൻറ്റ്. മൈക്കിൾസ് ചാപ്പലിൽ ദിവ്യബലി ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും.

Contest Rules and Guidelines:
1. Each choral group will be allotted a minimum of 9 minutes and a maximum of 12 minutes for their total performance time.
2. Each Choral Group will have a maximum of 12 member participants
3. Each choir is required to sing three different Christmas carols.
4. Songs to be performed should be in Malayalam or English.
5. Competing groups are allowed to use props or any other set design within their respective numbers
6. Criteria for Judging: Christmas Crib 15%. V ocal Quality- 30%,Musicality 30%,Showmanship (Song Choice, stage presence and choreography) 15%.Costume 10%=100
7. Two points deduction from the group’s total score if they sing more than three (3) songs.
8. Two points deduction for every minute they exceed the maximum time allowed for each group (12 minutes).
9. The orchestral backing for songs can be by way of musical instruments or Karaoke. Karaoke should not contain any vocal harmony singing parts like chorus, etc in it. Teams can also render the carol without any instruments.
10. There will be three prizes for the both categories.

The Carol Competition will be starting at 12.noon on 14th January 2018 at the UKKCA Community Centre.
There will be a Holy Mass after the Carol song competition.
